OffScreen Quest (“we”, “our”, or “us”) provides a family task and rewards application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our mobile app and website.

- Family profile data: Child display names, avatars, quest progress, points, and reward history.
- Quest submissions: Photos or notes submitted when children complete quests (stored to enable parent review).
- Device data: Push notification tokens and basic device identifiers needed for app functionality.
- Usage data: Aggregated analytics to improve reliability and features (where enabled).
How we use information
- Operate quest assignment, approval workflows, and reward redemption.
- Authenticate users and secure family accounts.
- Send notifications about quest status (with your permission).
- Respond to support requests and legal data-deletion requests.
- Comply with applicable laws and prevent abuse.
Data storage & security
Data is stored using industry-standard cloud infrastructure (including Firebase). We apply access controls so parent accounts can only access their own family data. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure; we work to protect your data using reasonable safeguards.
Children’s privacy
OffScreen Quest is designed for use by families under parental supervision. Child accounts are created and managed by a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without parental involvement.
Sharing with third parties
We do not sell your personal information. We use service providers (such as authentication, database, and messaging services) solely to operate the app. These providers process data on our behalf under contractual obligations.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
- Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based.
- Request a copy of your data or lodge a complaint with a regulator.

Data retention
We retain account data while your account is active. After a deletion request, we remove personal data within 30 days except where retention is required by law (for example, fraud prevention or legal obligations).

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
