These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the OffScreen Quest mobile application and related website (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility

The Service is intended for parents and guardians managing family accounts. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to register a parent account. Child profiles must be created and supervised by a parent or legal guardian.

Account responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity under your family account.
• You agree to provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
• You must not share your account with unauthorized third parties.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
• Upload harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content in quest submissions.
• Attempt to access other users’ data or interfere with the Service’s security.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the Service without permission.

Quests, points & rewards

Quests, point values, and rewards are configured by families within the app. OffScreen Quest provides tools only; we do not guarantee specific behavioral outcomes. Parents are solely responsible for defining appropriate rewards and supervising children’s use of the app.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, logos, and software, is owned by OffScreen Quest and protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial family use.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OFFSCREEN QUEST SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS IF NO FEES WERE PAID.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion via our data deletion form. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose security risks.

Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the app or website. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your country of residence unless otherwise required by mandatory local law. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in that location, unless otherwise mandated by consumer protection law.
